I created this podcast a year prior to the recent protests that placed the University of Missouri in the national spotlight and raised questions about the campus' racial and social climate. This audio story features a social discussion with students about the naturally occurring enclaves and racial divisions within the student center at the University of Missouri. The piece particularly discusses a section of the student center occupied by African Americans known as the "Black Hole."

The Arizona Dragon Boat Association celebrated its 11th year of hosting the annual dragon boat festival. The event was held on Tempe Town Lake where more than 30 teams of diverse paddlers ranging from students to seniors competed in divisional dragon boat races. The event celebrated and promoted culture, diversity, mental strength, physical health, teamwork and community while benefitting breast cancer survivor offsets, AZ disabled sports and special olympics.

Mizzou After Dark provides students with alternative activities on Friday nights opposed to drinking and partying. These events bring students together to promote diversity, school spirit and develop a sense of community. The "Tigers in the Tournament" themed evening was held in Memorial Union and included crafting stations to make Mizzou art and cheer on the basketball team in the SEC tournament.
